Exercise Types
The Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) methodology is defined and operated using seven exercise types, as shown below. Exercises are divided into two groups, discussion-based and operations-based exercises.
The Yale New Haven Center for Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Response can provide:
- Complete HSEEP-compliant exercise support or individual components as needed (e.g., planning, facilitation, evaluation and reporting)
- Assistance with developing and implementing a comprehensive drill and exercise program
YNH-CEPDR can provide assistance in developing and implementing exercises from a seminar to a full-scale event
